Absorbing dust collection system (Activated Carbon Tower System)
The method that removes polluted gas using the property of gaseous molecule and steam stick to porous solid surface (absorbent: Activated Carbon, Silica gel, etc.), which is broadly used in the absorption of hazardous gas and bad smell or the gas having recovery value.
(Using the phenomenon of absorbent being absorbed by micro pore)
Activated carbon absorption tower is the system that absorbs and removes a variety of organic gas and bad smell in a physical and chemical manner, which is the longest and convenient deodorization technology removing low-concentration gas or steam from the emitted gas. |
Major Information of Products |
Advantage of the system |
It can cope with the change in concentration of the treated gas.
Depending on the absorbent selected, it enables various dust collection efficiencies and absorption of various hazardous gases, the removal ratio of which reaches almost 100%.
As the absorbent is recycled, the maintenance cost is cheap, and also manipulation and system construction is very easy and simple. |
Selection of absorbent |
Pressure loss for the air flow must be less.
Absorption efficiency must be superb, and absorbent recycling must be easy.
Temperature and gas composition must be good in adaptability, and adsorbate recovery must be easy.
Activated carbon with iodine value 1000mg/g or more is used: Activated carbon must be replaced when iodine value is 600~800mg/g.
AIn the activated carbon, gas must stay for minimum 1sec or longer. The flow-through velocity of activated carbon within the absorption tower must be designed at 0.5m/sec or less. |
